Challenging to be a snowflake in this climate as of late. 75th day skiable with 122" snow and will consider this season a good one locally. Lots of potential for more snow, or not. Snowed lightly all day and ended up coating the entire mountain in thin powder. Where there is base, snowfarm and upper trails, skiers kicked and glided. Cooled down in the afternoon as skis iced up anywhere one hit the warm ground and wet surfaces. Skis on sale as the forecast appears very warm and wet for the next two weeks. Open daily until further notice. Happy Sunday to all!

Holding base on the mountain, deeper above 4000 feet. The drifted snowfarm averages a foot of hard packed snow. Snowcat groomed with thin spots and some dirt. Shoveling and regrooming. Icy. 22 at reporting time, 64th skiable day, 110" snow to date. Have a great holiday weekend!

Just enough snow, a thick powder as the ground freezes and drains. Lots of wind drifting so we'll snowcat groom the farm. 50 km open with thin snow caution in places. The oldest snow seems hardest to melt, lots more trail work mid season here. Fine tuning is helpful and now a chance to ski and sweep the upper mountains. Last eve still 7" at the 4300 foot stake. 39 at reporting time.

Every trail open for skiing or snowshoeing after a 10" storm graced our mountain. Drifting buried the snowfarm where we have groomed with Rosie PB. Picture here from 4300 feet late yesterday where powder is untouched. 22 and getting cloudy at reporting time and expect to offer up xc skiing for the next few days in style. Rain forecasted around Christmas. Hope we all get outside soon!

More work needed to sweep all the high country trails where we skied yesterday. The snowfarm was enjoyed by several families as they stopped in for gear exchange and a cafe burrito. Enough snow today for lessons, rentals, demo, and sales. Merry Christmas and batten down the hatches.

Uphill skiing in thin snow makes sense while downhilling brings out a new skill group. We are covered in 3" snow over frozen ground as we are out skiing on old worn out bottoms everywhere and doing some trail work while we can get around. Skiable day 10 today, 16 if we include Spencer skiing with no discretion. Snowfarm is shoveled and rolled for lessons, practice, kids, and demo gear. Thin snow skiing improved over night in the teens. Wind and smooth grassy farm pastures captured lots of windblown snow that we are grooming out. Sunny frost filled mountain provide alpine beauty today. Skip work and give up all material possessions.

4" drifted in the open wind blown grassy meadows surrounding the 3300 foot meadows of WG. Wet and warm today should drain and cool off Tuesday. Will groom along the 5 km snowfarm if it seems like the right thing to do. About 10" alongside the fences. More wind will continue to add to the stash. Anna and Ronnie start out today in pic above and help with trails all fall. Can't wait to ski!
