No grooming today. Plenty of snow, so best to use BC skis or touring skis. Real skinny skis are the wrong choice for today. Absolutely gorgeous snow cover on the trees......winter wonderland!

We did recieve 3"-4" by Friday morning. All the trails except Alberts to the Ski Lodge were groomed and tracked Friday.
It will be most likey be too warm too groom today so interstate will have the one track if we don't get out to groom. Sunday we will groom and track what's needed including too the ski lodge as it will be colder. Overall conditions are very good and suppose get 1-3" snow later this morning.
Could be a mixture afternoon , hopefully all snow like some the forecasts predicting.

Another superb day of skiing. Tracks held up well from yesterday. Snowing hard at 12:30. We'll probably groom tomorrow! Get out and ski. Take advantage of the glorious conditions.

Got the snowmobile back Friday night and took the roller out. Snow not quite deep enough to set tracks but close. Hoping packing will help keep snow a little longer. Some very nice skier set classic tracks tried to stay out of them as much as possible in flat areas. Only groomed loop trail/ interstate, bill alberts to alpine area, and trail to shed. Tried to get to silver mine but gate was locked imagine it’s really good as well. High of 32 Saturday and high of 40 Sunday so hopefully trails will remain decent until Sunday afternoon. It’s beautiful with snow on mtn. Laurel be sure to get out!!

About 5" last night over frozen ground that had 1" or 2 on it. More snow predicted.
Our snowmobile is out for repair and the new snowmobile has not arrived yet.
Generally we need about 10" -12" dense snow on the trail to groom due too rocks damaging the equipment so we can't groom anyway .
Chance the snowmobile may come back late sat morning so if it does, and we get additional snow we will groom some of the trails. A lot the trails skiable now so should be good for backcountry.

Not enough snow coverage to ski. Great for hiking, though. The good news: trails are freezing up. Now, we just need snow.
Grooming can't happen until we get more snow, and have the sled back from the shop.
Think positive!!

Well pretty good day to get out there received 3-4 “ overnight and continued to snow till about 10am. It is turning to rain. Got the old machine out decided to go with roller it ran well then stalled and gave fits. Ended up abandoning grooming efforts. But got machine back to shed. Acting like an alternator issue, will see if we can fix. Can’t wait for the new snowmobile!!
In the meantime at least a foot on the ground skiers blazed trail on lippos. Roads are decent but parking lots in park boundaries are unplowed and a very heavy wet snow bring a shovel and traction material. I would suggest parking at the lot by stone hut.
